Unit 1: Diversity
Very long unit - and not all of it will be covered due to lack of time. Starts with origin of life and surveys ALL of life using the three Kingdom classification system. So prokaryotes, protists, fungi, plants, and animals will be studied in detail (yeah) using phylogeny and systematics as the basis.
